Memoirs
Recollections - Jack Rittenhouse - My father-in-law Jack sent us a Christmas present each year of a hand-typed first draft random brain dump chapter (or half-chapter) of his memoirs. He authored the first popular road guide to the new Route 66 (Chicago to Santa Monica Pier). His handy book is reprinted by University of New Mexico and sold in tourist stores all along old Route 66. Decades after he died, I started editing and illustrating his memoir material.
Walk With Me - Harry Briley - My father-in-law Jack's goal of writing his memoirs impressed me and a PBS special about the teenage brain caused me to consider how much I could recall from memory. Upon my mother's and later my wife's death, I uncovered archival treasures that filled in memory gaps and held unknown or unspoken data.
Newsletters - My latest annual newsletters. Past annual newsletters are incorporated into my Memoir (above).
